I’m a Weymouth-based artist working across drawing, printmaking and oil painting. I spent many years working digitally, but recently I’ve found myself drawn back to making things by hand. I love the mess, the imperfections and the feeling of actually making something rather than just moving things around on a screen.

My work is usually driven by an idea, a feeling or a story. I’m interested in the things that sit beneath the surface: identity, emotion, memory, vulnerability and the strange little parts of being human that are difficult to explain.

I’m currently working on Unsaid, a collection of surrealist paintings created from anonymous confessions. I collect confessions from strangers and turn them into visual interpretations, using symbolism and surreal imagery rather than simply illustrating what they have told me. I like the idea that something deeply personal can be shared anonymously, then transformed into something that anyone can look at and find their own meaning in.

My practice has taken me through lots of different materials and ways of working. In 2023, I created The Inking, a collection made using a biro attached to a tattoo machine, and I’ve since explored screen printing, cyanotype, drawing and other experimental print processes. In 2026, I began working with oil paint, which has opened up a completely new way of thinking about colour, light and storytelling.

I’m currently an artist in residence at Space Lab Studio in Weymouth. I have exhibited in London and Dorset, including with Sophie Tea in 2023 and as part of a residency and exhibition with Sophie Tea in Wandsworth in 2026.

I’m still figuring out exactly where my work is going, but that’s part of what I enjoy about it. I like experimenting, following an idea wherever it takes me and making work that hopefully makes someone stop for a second and feel something.
