About
BIOGRAPHY
Molly Mack is an artist currently based in Dorset, working primarily with analog methods to explore various themes. After studying Illustration and traditional printmaking techniques at university, Molly developed a distinct visual voice blending fine detail with emotional rawness. Her early work merged traditional and digital forms, culminating in a final-year project inspired by her maternal family’s circus history titled ‘Circus, The People’s Art Form’ shortlisted for the Design District Award at New Designers London.
In 2023, she exhibited at London artist Sophie Tea’s Brewing exhibition in Carnaby Street - an experience that marked a turning point in her practice, inspiring a return to hand-drawn, tactile processes. She later released The Inking, a collection of pieces created using a tattoo gun and biro on paper. This sparked a fascination with dotwork. Now working primarily in fineliner and ink, Molly has recently launched Fragments - a three-part series exploring the tension between being seen and withholding. She is currently developing new work during her residency at Space Lab, focusing on pointillism using fineliner and ink.
