Circus- the peoples art form.

This project was my final year project at university. It was inspired my maternal family, who once ran and owned Circus Hoffman. The artist book you see in the video is a timeline of circus history. I was inspired by old circus posters that I came across while digging through my family's archives to create a celebration of circus history, using visual communication, whilst being careful to acknowledge some of the problematic history behind circus culture. Above you can see some other artwork that went along with the book. The screen prints are available in my shop for a limited time.
